This screenwash is made from a blend of solvents which are water miscible and biodegradable if accidentally allowed to enter water drainage systems.

The solvents have a low order of toxicity and very low volatility (flash point above 98 C). Because of these properties BD117 is much safer to use compared to conventional screenwash formulations. Its use in automatic screen washing equipment and it gives the advantage of prolonged operational life due to the low volatility of the product. As with all organic solvents the proper protective clothing must be worn at all times. i.e. Eye and skin protection.
