Small
Products specialize in UV curing ink systems for the graphic
arts. All our inks are environmentally friendly .Apart from
the standard UV ink range, spectrum, we also do a water
based UV ink Aqua Billboard, this gives a better reproduction
to the original as the print do shrink, a little and also
the film weight is reduced.

Fluorescent
Inks or Day Glow: These
are bright punchy colours, which fluoresce in daylight as
well as in UV light. There is a range of eight colors available
from stock. However any color can be matched by our color-matching
department. UV systems are printed through a 140T mesh and
conventional systems are printed through an 110T mesh.

Luminescent
Inks or Night Glow:
These are dull colors during the presence of light, but
once in the dark (i.e. no light what so ever) they emit
light and hence appear bright. There is only a limited color
range available; the most common color is yellow & green.
Printed through a 49T or 62T mesh.

|
Perfumed
Inks or Scratch & Sniffs: This is a special ink medium with encapsulated perfume.Scratching
breaks the ink film. The perfume being trapped in the ink
film and released only when the ink film is broken by scratching.
This is limited to a color medium and to certain fragrances,
which can be encapsulated. Printed through a 140T or Aqua
mesh.

|
Glitter
Inks: This is very special and available
in various colors and sizes. However for screen printing
the restriction is the mesh count and hence the closest
glitter print is using a 25T mesh.
|
|
Pearlescent
Inks: These types of inks are used
to give a pearl effect over a dark background. In conjunction
with normal inks these would give a non-ferrous metallic
ink. Printed through a 140T mesh.
|
|
Heat
Active Inks or Thermo Inks - Thermal Sensitive: These inks are water based UV inks, which will
disappear at higher temperatures and re-appear at room temperature.
The color range is limited to pale pastel shades from yellow
- orange - vermilion- pink - blue - turquoise - brown -
green - grey. The color change is reversible for over 100
times, however the product is poor in light fastness and
is therefore unsuitable for application where it is exposed
to direct sunlight over long hours. Printed through a 140T
or 110T mesh.

|
Daylight
Active Inks - UV Light Sensitive: Again a range of a UV water based ink system which
will disappear in artificial or non UV light source and
appear in Daylight or UV Light. Three basic colors are available,
yellow - blue - purple, which can be mixed to achieve a reasonable
range of colors. The color change is again reversible but
only a hundred times. The colors have poor light fastness
and outdoor should be limited to only one week. Printed
through 140T mesh.

Ferrous
Inks - Metallic Inks:
These inks are printed on the reverse side of displays,
so a quick change over can be made on a pre-magnetized board.
This can be printed all over for paper and for PVC heavier
strips are printed to hold the display on panels. Printed
through a 49T mesh. H-I Metallic Inks. These is non-ferrous
inks, using bronze and aluminum powder to give metallic
effects. (I.e. gold-silver-coppertone). In conjunction with
standard inks a wide variety of metallic effects can be
obtained. UV systems are printed through Aqua mesh and conventional
systems are printed through an 110T mesh.

are non-ferrous inks, using bronze and aluminum powder to
give metallic effects. (i.e. gold - silver - Coppertone).
In conjunction with standard inks a wide variety of metallic

Reflex - Fading
Inks: These special inks were first
looked at in 1988, when we were asked to develop inks, which
would have significant impact on a campaign for M.N.D. This
campaign was well renowned in industry, but due to the very
tight time schedules only flesh colors i.e. Body tone prints
were produced.
Since this famous campaign "My picture is fading fast", there
were plenty of enquiries for doing this type of work, but with four color
half tone prints.
We developed the inks further to include a range of tri-chromatic
inks, however, to obtain the fading properties required
i.e. change within the life of a campaign which is normally
2-6 weeks, true tri-chromatic colours could not be obtained,
but reflex brighter dichromatic inks were obtained which
would fade gradually and disappear completely in 14-20 days
time in normal weathering conditions with some sunlight
during this time. Printed through an Aqua mesh.

Tactile
Inks or Braille Inks:
These inks have been developed so that a heavier film of
up to 0.5mm could be printed. These are used to mark household
products which are hazardous ,so that blind people could
recognize the hazard. Further work is being done so that
books can be printed with this type of ink instead of Braille
- again for the Blind. Printed through 10-25T mesh.
|
|
Thermic
Black: This is similar to the heat
active ink but is limited to one color - grayish black and
is non-reversible i.e. is colorless at room temperature
to 60°C. At 60°C it changes color, which is irreversible.
Printed through 140T mesh.
|
|
Textured
Inks and Varnishes:
These ink system gives a texture feel to the inks and its
main application is in a membrane switches for touch panels
and keyboards. It is available in two levels, coarse and
fine texture. Printed through a 62 or 90T mesh.

Just Add Water -
J.A.W Series:
Conventional solvent based inks, which change from White to a color, when
they come in contact with water. The process is non-reversible and is
available in Yellow, Red, Blue, Black, Green and Violet. These base colors
can be mixed to achieve a reasonable range. The product has poor Light
Fastness and is therefore unsuitable for applications where it is exposed
to direct sunlight over long periods. Best results are obtained through 110T
# on absorbent paper or board.

|
Water
Removable - WRM Series:
Conventional solvent based inks, which wipe off with a wet
cloth. Available in a range of semi opaque colours, printed
through a 110T mesh on an coated litho print.

|
Magnetic Ink : SUV curing magnetic ink to
print on reverse side of displays, so quick change over can be made on a
pre-magnetized board
|
|
Hologram: Set of special effect ink provides
a kaleidoscope of possibilities to create a three-dimensional
eye catching image.
|
|
Reflective
Ink: Reflective Inks will look normal
in daylight, but at night it will reflect light back to
its source. A range of colours are possible. Stronger colours
will reflect less. Solvent Based systems are printed through
49T #.
